Notes from the February 8^th meeting of the Student Government Association:

Singing Valentines are available from the Music Honor Fraternity.  The songs are very sweet and melt women's hearts.  Several females were serenaded and left feeling warm and gooey. 

Valentine's Day is coming up with lots of events for single people.  People in relationships are not invited.  Ha! How does it feel now???

The bi-annual alcohol survey is coming up, put down your cups and pick up your pens.

Daniel Bascom went on the record for his displeasure with MTV – where IS the music?

The financial aid office is looking for feedback on how to reach students more effectively.  They would like to know if the young people are still using the Facebook or this Twitter thing, and if they might reach us via these networks. 

A Mr. Roger's joke was made; several members present were too young to remember the national hero in the yellow sweater, and several other members suddenly felt very old.
