Horror Tries to Stay Alive
The hit horror survival game from 2008, Dead Space, makes its return with the sequel, Dead Space 2. Developed by Visceral Games, Dead Space 2 has a huge name to live up to. Does it deserve a spot on your shelf, or would it just be taking up space? Dead Space 2's plot centers on the same threat from the first game, an alien infection that takes over the bodies of human corpses called Necromorphs.
Black Swan is the most disappointing movie to be released last year. Directed by the famous Darren Aronofsky, the film has received much critical acclaim and has been nominated for five Academy Awards in total. This is due to a classically arresting visual style typical of Aronofsky, and an impressive performance from Natalie Portman.

Proving that a popular franchise does not equal a good film, The Green Hornet is a clumsy and inept attempt at a super hero movie. The film opened on January 14th to mixed reviews. It is based off of the television series from the 1960s. The beloved Saw franchise finally met its anti-climatic demise with the release of its severely unsatisfying final installment, Saw 3-D. Since the debut of the first film, Saw, in 2004, the series has been praised by horror fans for its originality, gore, and twisted sense of morality.

Fallout: New Vegas is a well-made extension of the Fallout franchise that all fans should give a try. Though it is not a true sequel to 2008's Fallout 3, it certainly has enough material included in it to warrant purchase. For the uninitiated, the Fallout series takes places in an America that has been devastated by nuclear war with China.

Buckcherry never claimed to be the band to deliver poetic or thought-provoking lyrics. They did, however, take a sacred vow to, at some point, get chicks everywhere to drop their panties.
